foster: Adoption?!
We got a call for a permanent placement. It was a heart wrenching story. I wasn't prepared for our first call to be an adoption call! After much thought and prayer we decided it wasn't the right time or situation for our family. =( The good news is, we're being considered for children.

We have been propping you up to the caseworkers we have been in contact with...
I try to tell them you are the most normal couple they will find doing foster care and to call you. Hopefully you find a good fit. Sometimes it is very tough to say no but make sure the fit is right, even if it's only for a few months.
Wow, what a trial that must have been for you guys! I'm just now catching up on your last few posts, but I know that you guys will be great parents to any child that needs love! I'm thinking about you, hoping the right situation comes along soon!
I hope you guys find a situation that is right for you. It must be rough going through all that. We'll keep you in our prayers.
